Meet the founders
of Velofutur.

Juan Campos Otero and Jorge Quintana Ortí, co-founders of Velofutur, bring decades of experience and passion for cycling, supporting talented riders and renowned events.

Juan Campos Otero​ Co-Founder

Juan Campos was born in Galicia on October 29, 1961. His connection with cycling began at an early age, competing as an amateur until 1985. He later managed the Aluminios Cortizo junior and amateur team and worked as an assistant with teams such as Zor-BH and Seguros Amaya. In 1993, he made his professional management debut with Kelme-Xacobeo, moving to Santa Clara in 1995. In 1996, he founded and managed the Porcelanatto amateur team, achieving notable success through 1998. Since 1999, he has focused on rider representation and advising teams and organizers, supported by a network of experts in logistics, legislation, and calendar coordination.

Jorge Quintana Ortí​ Co-Founder

Born in Torrent, Valencia, in 1976, Jorge Quintana holds a degree in Information Sciences from CEU San Pablo. He began his journalism career as a writer for Meta 2MIL, a national cycling weekly that he later directed. He has written sports novels exploring doping and its harmful consequences, including “Pedaleando en el Infierno” and “Pedaleando en el Purgatorio”. As a co-founder of Velofutur, he has provided technical guidance to teams and race organizers and helped develop emerging talent. His specialty is marketing and building relationships with sponsors.
